Research

In this project we will be responsible for studies on the role of orphan nuclear receptors in the control of the metabolic syndrome, type 2 diabetes and its cardiovascular complications.  Our laboratory has long-standing expertise in this area and uses state of the art technology and a post-doctoral research worker will be hired to coordinate the creation and characterization of the models related to the research projects of the program.
